Where your video goes: nowhere
Last updated 9 October 2026
This is a short, plain summary. It is not the legal document. The full text is in our Privacy Policy, and that is the one that counts.
Does Upfit record my video?
No. Upfit uses your iPhone's front camera during a workout, but the video is never recorded or uploaded. The app has no photo or video capture. Camera frames go only into the pose model that runs on your phone.
What is processed on my phone?
The body tracking, the rep counting and the form checks all run on your phone. Nothing from the camera needs to leave it for the app to work.
Does Upfit keep any tracking data?
The app writes numbers (body-point coordinates, not images) to a diagnostic log on your phone. It keeps the log for 7 days. The log is uploaded only if you send a message in the in-app Support chat.
What does Upfit store?
- Account and profile details you give us, such as your name, email address, age, weight and height.
- Workout summaries, such as time, reps, calories and your Easy, Just Right or Hard rating, so your Progress tab works.
- Support messages you send us.
- Waitlist email, if you joined our waitlist before launch. We use it only to tell you about Upfit.
Who else gets data?
The app sends usage analytics to Mixpanel and Superwall. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. On the website, the Meta Pixel loads only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. It tells Meta which pages you view and when you tap through to the App Store. If you decline or ignore the banner, none of that happens. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Profile and choose Delete Account. You can also email privacy@upfit.mobile and we will delete your data within 30 days. To leave the waitlist, email support@upfit.mobile.
